Welcome Twilight Fans!

Thursday, September 29, 2011

Having read all the Twilight novels and seen the movies, we could not pass through this area without a quick visit to the home of main characters, Bella, Edward, and Jacob. The setting was Forks, Washington, but the films were actually shot in Oregon and British Columbia, and the town of Forks claims them as their own. It's Twilight madness here with signs, gift shops, and restaurants!

Remember the treaty line? The treaty was between the Quileute Tribe and the local vampires.

Beware!

Jacob took Bella to a bonfire on the beach in LaPush. I believe he revealed his true self here.

Beautiful...the area is owned by the Quileute tribe and sits along this beautiful rugged coast. What a spectacular wilderness beach!

Next stop: Hoh Rain Forest, Olympic National Park

Location:Forks, Washington

  1. I'm jealous! Being that I read the books and saw the (terrible) movies, I'd love to visit. Did you see any vampires glimmering in the sunlight?
